This Privacy Policy shall take effect as of October 17, 2025.

PriceB (“the Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable laws and regulations in collecting, retaining, and processing personal information as prescribed by law. The Company lawfully processes and safely manages personal information to ensure the proper performance of its duties and to protect the rights and freedoms of data subjects. In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, this Privacy Policy has been established and disclosed to inform data subjects of the procedures and standards for processing personal information, and to ensure that any related inquiries or complaints are handled promptly and appropriately.

1. Purpose of Processing, Items Collected, and Retention Period of Personal Information
PriceB collects only the minimum amount of personal information necessary for performing its duties and handling customer inquiries. Details regarding the items of personal information processed and their purposes are provided in the respective service websites’ Privacy Policy, where data subjects can review them.

2. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
PriceB provides personal information to third parties only in cases falling under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as when the data subject has given consent or when otherwise permitted by law. Personal information may be provided to third parties in the following cases:
  1. When separate consent has been obtained from the data subject
  2. When required by other laws or regulations
  3. When it is deemed necessary to protect the urgent life, body, or property interests of the data subject or a third party
  4. When it is necessary to use personal information for purposes other than the original intent or to provide it to a third party in order to perform duties prescribed by other laws, and such provision has been reviewed and approved by the Personal Information Protection Commission
  5. When it is necessary to provide information to a foreign government or international organization for the fulfillment of treaties or other international agreements
  6. When necessary for criminal investigation, prosecution, or the maintenance of a public prosecution
  7. When required for the performance of judicial functions by a court
  8. When necessary for the execution of criminal penalties, protective custody, or protective dispositions
  9. When urgently required for public health or public safety
When PriceB provides personal information to a third party, the Company will inform users of the following items and obtain their consent in advance
  1. The recipient of the personal information
  2. The purpose of use by the recipient
  3. The items of personal information to be used or provided
  4. The retention and use period of the personal information (or that of the recipient, if applicable)
  5. The fact that the data subject has the right to refuse consent, and any disadvantages that may result from such refusal.
3. Entrustment of Personal Information Processing
This website does not entrust the processing of personal information to any external parties. However, if PriceB entrusts personal information processing to a third party in the future, details of the entrusted tasks and the trustee (including any subcontractors, if applicable) will be disclosed on the relevant service website.
4. Procedures and Methods for the Destruction of Personal Information
  1. Establishment of a Destruction Plan
    · PriceB establishes a plan for the destruction of personal information in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Destruction Procedures and Timeframe
    · Information entered by users is destroyed without delay, within five (5) days after the retention period has expired or the purpose of processing has been achieved.
  3. Destruction Methods
    · When destroying personal information, PriceB uses the following methods

– For electronic files: Permanently delete the files in a manner that prevents recovery.
– For non-electronic records, printouts, documents, or other recording media: Destroy by shredding or incineration.

If personal information must continue to be retained pursuant to other laws, even after the retention period has expired or the purpose of processing has been achieved, such information will be stored separately in a different database (DB) or maintained in a distinct storage location.

5. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Their Legal Representatives, and Methods of Exercising Such Rights
PriceB promptly destroys personal information when it becomes unnecessary, such as when the retention period has expired or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled.

    ※ For children under the age of 14, such requests must be made directly by their legal representative. Data subjects aged 14 or older who are minors may exercise their rights either directly or through their legal representative

  2. In accordance with Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, data subjects may exercise their rights by submitting a written request, sending an email, or transmitting a fax. PriceB will take prompt action upon receipt of such requests

  4. Requests for access to or suspension of the processing of personal information may be subject to restrictions in accordance with Article 35(4) and Article 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act, and therefore the rights of data subjects may be limited.
  5. Requests for correction or deletion cannot be accepted when the personal information is designated by other laws as mandatory for collection.
  6. When a data subject requests access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing, PriceB verifies whether the requester is the data subject or a legitimate representative.
  7. Data subjects may file requests for access or related inquiries regarding personal information with the department listed below. PriceB will make every effort to ensure such requests are processed promptly.

6. Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information
PriceB implements the following measures to ensure the security and integrity of personal information
  1. Establishment and Implementation of an Internal Management Plan
    · PriceB establishes and enforces an internal management plan in accordance with the Standards for Ensuring the Security of Personal Information.

    · Records of access to the personal information processing system (such as web logs and summary information) are retained and managed for at least one (1) year.
    ※ However, for systems processing the personal information of 50,000 or more data subjects, or handling unique identification information or sensitive information, the records are retained and managed for at least two (2) years.
  5. Encryption of Personal Information
    · Users’ personal information is stored and managed in encrypted form.
    · Important data is encrypted during both storage and transmission, and additional security features are applied.
  6. Technical Measures Against Hacking and Other Threats
    · To prevent the leakage or damage of personal information caused by hacking, computer viruses, or other threats, PriceB installs and regularly updates security programs. Systems are located in controlled-access areas, and both technical and physical monitoring and blocking measures are implemented.
  7. Physical Access Control for Unauthorized Persons
    · Physical storage locations for personal information systems are established separately, with entry control procedures in place and strictly enforced.

  1. PriceB may use ‘cookies’ to collect statistical information on user access and to improve its services as necessary for website operation

  1. PriceB appoints a Personal Information Protection Officer who takes overall responsibility for all matters related to the processing of personal information. The Officer is responsible for overseeing personal information management and for handling complaints and remedy requests from data subjects concerning the processing of their personal information.
  2. Data subjects may contact the Personal Information Protection Officer or the department in charge regarding any inquiries, complaints, or damage relief matters arising from the use of PriceB’s services. PriceB will respond to and process such inquiries without delay.

9. Remedies for Infringement of the Rights of Data Subjects
Data subjects may seek dispute resolution or consultation related to personal information infringement by contacting the Personal Information Protection Portal or the Personal Information Infringement Report Center operated by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
